Yeah I did the same thing, but if you enter the same code on that bungie.net/redeem page there will be a popup with some blue text that is acually a link to your destiny profile /redemtion page (seems like theres no other way to get to that page BTW) and under the headline Destiny2 there will be the system verification link.
