Ok so, I am 16, still with my parents and all, and I want to rescue a cat, my mom has no problem with it at all, but my dad has allergies to certain cats, and doesn't want another pet, we have 3 dogs and I have taken care of all 3 more than they have combined. So what should I tell them to try and convince them to let me get one. I know it's their house, and all, but the local shelter I would adopt from has a very very low adoption rate and most animals are killed there, that is my reasoning. Thanks guys. Edit- my main reason for getting one is to help with my depression, and emotional state, I am also a lonely person.
