Questions to Bungie regarding importing characters to D2 [BUNGIE PLEASE READ]
1) We were told we'd get rewards in D2 for veteran accomplishments, we were also told we'd get to import character appearances from D1 to D2 on characters who had reached level 20 AND beaten the Black Garden. Is being able to import our characters the reward for veteran accomplishments that were previously mentioned, or is there more to it than that?
2) If we import our characters from Destiny 1, will we get the chance to change their appearance, or are we stuck with them as they are? We never could turn our heads when customizing them, so my hunter has a crappy haircut I'd like to change.
3) Assuming the answer to question 1 is that there is more to the rewards than importing characters, will we still get said rewards if we choose to create an entirely new character as opposed to importing our old ones, or will importing our old characters be mandatory if we want those rewards?

personally they can keep any and all cosmetic crap. If it's not armor or a weapon I really have no need of it.

I don't think you have to import a character to get those rewards. Even if you do, collect your rewards, store them(which I don't think you would have to as I feel they will probably implement kiosks from the beginning or whatever point our new social space becomes available) and then delete your character and start a new one.

You'll have to "throw more money at the screen" before bungie can answer those questions, and by answer I mean dodge the real question and give u a shader or some stooopid bubble to wear on your toons head.

I haven't seen my Guardians face since Day 1. Don't even know remeber the cut scenes cause I skipped them being this is not my first ever account. Don't even know what they look like under the helmets; and don't care.

3 RisposteConsidering our hair cuts are pretty much the only thing we'll be carrying over from D1, and you've admitted you don't like your hair cut, why are you concerned about being able to import your character? Just start fresh.

1 RispondiI'd just like to have a thing in D2 that allows us to change our appearance whenever we wanted to. I got sick of my guardians appearance after a while and the only thing I can do to change it is to delete my character and start again and I really don't want to do that. This should be a standard in games like this, make it happen Bungie.

1 RispondiLol what if bungo was just having us transfer our characters just to kill them in the first mission because we get dropped off on the ship and find ourselves literally face to face with ghaul. We technically asked for a death cut scene for our gaurdians a month or two back so I wouldn't be surprised. That way we wouldn't have to worry about fixing our fuggly guardians

Modificato da Mar: 5/29/2017 4:37:09 AMstill waiting on them to comment about moving characters cross platform. i mean they have to expect at least a number of people to move from Xbox / PS4 to PC since its finally coming out on the system. Which if they didn't allow you to import your Destiny 1 character to destiny 2 on PC i can't think of a reason they'd exclude someone to do what they've already offered for people moving from PS3 / xbox360 to Xbox one / PS4 in destiny 1.

Honestly its rather useless... Most likely an Emblem that honestly isn't going to be that special seeing.......... If you've gotten to Level 20 and completed a Mission. Nearly all of us should of accomplished this 3 years ago. Lol

15 RisposteWhat a special snowflake. The reward is a cosmetic, emblem/shader. Also, the rewards are per account, not per character. So no, you don't have to transfer your characters.

I feel bad for all the people who used to obsessively edge their reputation bars and store reward packages at the postmaster. How are they going to frantically prepare for launch if its a hard reset. Poor crazy people.
