Thorn used to be a powerful weapon. In year one, it dominated the crucible. Since then, it has been nerfed into the ground and due to everyone's fear of it ruling the crucible, the weapon is severely underpowered. Terrible range. Average impact. Low damage over time. Terrible recoil. It's time to make thorn great again! The quest is too long and time-consuming for thorn to be bad. As a bladedancer, I can say that I spent hours doing the quest just to find out the gun sucks. My palindrome outperforms it in every aspect. Exotics are supposed to be the most powerful weapon rarity. MAKE THORN GREAT AGAIN! (And maybe give it void damage because the gun takes void kills to get.)
