1. I play the game because I enjoy it. I had fun (though it was frustrating at times) helping a clan mate and his son through their first clears of the Crota's End challenge modes. 2. Those kinds of posts on LFG are basically announcements by people who are poor raid leaders. If I'm looking for a game, I'm basically thanking them for making it clear that I want nothing to do with them. 3. I understand very clearly that NOTHING in this game is real and NOTHING about this game matters beyond its capacity to allow me to have FUN. ...and I still have fun playing this game. On those rare occaisions when I'm feeling somewhat burned out....I put DOWN the game...and I go play something else. My playing Horizon Zero Dawn and Mass Effect Andromeda has helped to keep Destiny fresh for me. Bottomline? All loot-based RPGS are grinds. If you don't enjoy grinding...then this isn't the game for you. Just that simple.
