No more tickling people to death!

8 RisposteI think you're going to find reaction falls along two different lines. 1. People who are former Halo players or play in the lower half of the Crucible draw generally prefer the longer TTKs. 2. People who aren't Halo players, or tend to play in the upper third of the draw generally hate it. Bottomline, when you play in the top 1/3 of the draw or higher, you were dealing with whole lobbies (back when SBMM was stronger) of players who had mastered the game's movements skills. So---at even a TTK of 0.8 secs----those players had PLENTY of time to escape to safety unless they made some sort of serious mistake. Plus there was plenty of time for the player or his allies to turn the tables on you and strip you of your intial advantage. So the game becomes a boringly predictable exercise in "thumbskill" where there is little or any penalty for STUPID play or losing situational awareness. Conversely, little reward for smart play, and for individually aggressive play. As another poster once said, "I've never had more success at the Crucible, while enjoying it less." Sums my feelings about the current state fo the Crucible up, very nicely.

1 RispondiLMAO - 95% of my kills in PvP are from a primary weapon. I would suggest dropping that low impact high RoF auto if you are tiredof "tickling" people to death
-
Modificato da HyperVigiIant: 4/11/2017 2:09:06 PMThe majority of my kills come from primary weapons too. It just takes longer than it used to with most of them due to countless nerfs, which I'm not a fan of. @a Fi1thy Casual
-
@denied_valor We have one shot weapons that make the TTK just as fast as COD's. Appropriate primary buffs won't ruin anything when we have one shot kill weapons. A lot of primary weapons have been nerfed way too much and cannot compete with the typically used ones. People have to be ignorant to not accept that fact. I prefer to use an Icebreaker as my primary weapon since it has the fastest TTK and readily available ammo! I'd like to be given more reason to use a primary weapon.

1 RispondiJust means you suck at pvp.

Modificato da HyperVigiIant: 4/10/2017 9:07:44 PMIt's actually a compliment when a person with your lack of comprehension skills insults me. I wouldn't want to be doing anything well by your standards. @ChuckinG ClownS

Modificato da HyperVigiIant: 4/10/2017 8:58:15 PMMy post clearly says 'tickling people to death', not 'tickling people and then dying'. It also clearly says 'jest' since I was inspired to make a post that made me chuckle after reading this post. - https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/224708245/0/0 People have a weird way of understanding things on this forum. I think people have a bad day and try to look for any opportunity to insult. If a warranted reason to insult isn't available, people will create their own.

Modificato da HyperVigiIant: 4/10/2017 8:45:10 PMWhen did I say that I haven't been doing 'fine', or that I was struggling? People's comprehension skills are lacking. They read what they want to from the simplest of posts. @Mayhem420

3 RisposteBeen doing just fine with my AR since yr 1. My I suggest aiming?

23 RisposteModificato da Kone19ps: 4/9/2017 4:36:27 PMDisagree. I don't want a return to boring 0.6-0.4 ttk. The faster the pace the more of a twitch shooter and who sees who first wins it becomes and the more bored I get.

5 RisposteModificato da Fujimoose: 4/10/2017 8:38:52 AMI think they should lower the time to kill to at most .75 seconds. Right now the average is at .8 on average but that's not saying much since a lot of primaries are at a whole second. Specials will still have their place. Sidearms with good rolls have a TTK of about .6 something so they won't be useless. And shotguns and snipers will still be one shot kills in their ranges. I think TTK needs to be lowered slightly.
-
1 RispondiI disagree, the longer kill times are part of what draws me into Destiny. In-fact, I'm enjoying the current iteration more than previous metas and I'm a Fusion/Shotty guy. I'd love to see Hakke Pulses buffed a bit and Max RoF HandCs be granted a slight increase to Stability but that'd actually be about it.
-
2 RisposteI don't like taking forever to kill, but with Snipers and shotguns out of the picture, this is perfect.
-
Modificato da HyperVigiIant: 4/9/2017 11:57:10 PMIt's a compliment to be considered a scrub by someone with your lack of understanding and ability to form coherent and full sentences. @VirtualLad
-
1 RispondiLol, another scrub..
-
5 RisposteI would like to see auto rifles bugged across the board with better stability. Side arms are amazing right now and tend to beat out primaries at great ranges. I'm not sure how I feel about special ammo nerf still.
-
1 RispondiDestiny guardians could easily mix in with the Titans in titanfall. Faster ttk would be a great change.
-
11 RisposteI just look at it like this: Primaries can kill my opponent, but don't expect anything amazing without a specific roll and good thumb skill. Specials are like chasing Zebras now, yet the Potential 1HKO is why I even bother playing more conservatively when I go for ammo. Heavies are left to the imagination.
-
1 RispondiPrimaries were my main mode of getting kills right up until the special nerf hit. Used right, they are entirely acceptable, though I think a small buff wouldn't hurt.
-
1 RispondiWhich is why their special fix was doomed to fail from the start
-
10 RisposteU must not play 3v3
-
1 RispondiYes make pvp y1 again
-
2 RisposteI have a few guns that would not agree with you. Use Universal Remote, it is a special primary.
-
1 Rispondi650 milosecond primary TTK for Destiny 2!
