Practice for Crota
I want to get better with the sword in CE. Does anyone have a good place to get some practice with the sword so that I can do more damage consistently?

Now that I think about it, Court of Oryx has that "mini-Crota" Boss. That's probably the best place to practice and perfect my timing!

2 RisposteThis is something Bungie has not done particularly well. They improved it with TTK, but generally speaking, it's still bad. Strikes and missions should give you a sample of the raid mechanics so that people can actually practice. If you think of this as a sports analogy: the only place to practice is during the game.

1 RispondiMore damage? All timing. They have to bring him down while you're jumping up to him, get a few swings in and back off. Then back off and repeat.

The one place to get a sword just like the one in the raid is the "fist of Crota" mission. 1st mission in TBD. It's on earth. Load in, run past all the adds and the knight holding it is in the corridor. Kill it and you have your sword. It lasts for like 2 minutes. Reset the mission and continue as long as you want Good luck :)

Anyone? I'd like to find a place to practice that isn't in the raid, as people get angry when you don't do really well.
