Just a slight observation about the trailer...
At the end of the reveal trailer, you see two guardians advancing, and two providing cover from the top of a building. It could have been four random guardians, yet you notice that not one, not two, not three, but all four guardians appear to be wearing armor from the same faction (New Monarchy) fighting back against the attackers. They're doing what their Faction's core belief is. This raises two points...
1. The faction you chose may actually have a slight effect on what you're doing, and
2. As I predicted, when the City falls under attack, you see New Monarchy fighting back, while Dead Orbit and the War Cult are nowhere to be found...

You gotta remember that you only see 5 seconds of one small alley or street. You can see from the tower that the city is miles and miles long, hell theres even a san fran looking city under the traveler. I doubt the factions would work closely together so its not surprising too see multiple of the same faction working together. A 4 man squad seems normal.

Meaningless. Just like factions. Join a faction to get that faction's gear. End of story.

New monarchy are fighting for the people in the city Fwc are probably fighting everywhere else, trying to crush the enemy elsewhere Dead orbit have either run off or are fighting the cabal fleet with their fleet Just my thoughts

Possible. Although Dead Orbit has probably already fled to the Reef at that point...

I did notice that... but.. Imo just like with TTK DLC there was a pre order bonus code that granted you access to the Suros weapon pack. This could be something similar seeing as the promo art leaked features Suros weapons.

Its possible the armour in the trialer is just normal armour with a suros themed shader. Like I said. There was a suros pack for pre ordered TTK. Anything with Bungie is possible

Great observation! I definitely noticed the red guardians and immediately thought of NM.
