pretty much. we players/guardians do all the grunt work. we run all the tedious missions and quests while the vanguard masters get all the glory. when destiny is over, everyone will remember zavala, cayde, ikora, shax, saladin, eris, xur, variks, ghost, and the cryptarch. nobody will remember who our 1 of a million guardians is.
