The cabal dlc was rumoured to have them attacking the tower, this was from a few years back.

No that's not true. There was no cabal dlc... it's always been rumoured that was the sequel. Stop spreading false information.

Just because a sequel has the same aspects as the first game doesnt mean it's copied. That's like saying halo 2 had covenant so it was only copying halo 1.
