It's funny how they got all emotional about your gear in the dark below weekly update, and then just threw it away during ttk.

I think they say what sounds good at the moment to sell DLC. They used to say "become more powerful." But, then they started nerfing sublclass abilities, weapon perks and ammo economy so they had to stop saying that.
