you get spammed forever if you try to transfer something you already have in your inventory, help it only stops when you exit the inventory manager. for instance if you try and put an emote that you already in your inventory from the inventory manager you get literally endless messages saying you can't do that and it blocks a good portion of your screen so you can't accesses you ships. This glitch happens with the same shader, the same ship, the same emblem, anything you can't hold twice. I even took a video of it but it needs to upload. try it for you self I'm sure it's not just me. it's simple just try to put something in you inventory that you can't hold twice from the inventory manager. it get's super annoying after awhile so just keep that in mind.
If you are going to try it take all of the emotes on one character and leave point as the only emote. then go on gear manager and have point in a different characters inventory (it does not matter if it is equipped or not ). then try and move the point emote from the character with one emotes to the character that has point in there inventory and then it should start.
I found this because I wanted to have a character with only point emotes and the game won't let you so I went on the gear manager and tried to move the point emote from a fresh hunter to my 370 warlock to see if it would work and then the glitch started.
It was funny at first but then it got annoying so if you do the glitch and you want it to stop just go to something like you legend or the help page. I found that emotes work the best. but you can do something like it with shaders, ships, and emblems
