I was on a boat coming from the south metal mountain on the island with a friend. We'd just scored a ton of metal, and we were going to make a couple pikes to power level back at base. On the way back, we saw and recognized another boat. These guys called themselves the fury vikings, and all they ever did was Raid and attack no matter the cost. They didn't do it for resources, or for vengeance. They raided just to make others struggle. We'd had a defense against these guys before, we held them off until allied tribes that had a bone to pick with them arrived in full force. They were pissed with us for selling them out and winning.
Just about as quickly as we recognized them, they recognized us. Immediately we turned and ran. Their boat was two walls up, meaning the driver couldn't see and they needed a navigator. For a couple minutes I'm wailing crossbow bolts at the Nav to no avail, and while we're running my friend tells me to grab his longneck from the smithy. I grabbed it with 25 rounds and continued firing on the Navigator. Both boats are moving at max speed, and they're turning to throw my shot off. On my 7th shot, I capped the navigator in the head and his body sunk to the bottom of the ocean. The boat tried to blindly give chase but quit after another few seconds, and we'd won.
