Sometimes it's a home run hitter. You can become overwhelmed with emotions, especially during a film. That being said though, it's hella hard for me to watch a movie that I know is a sad movie. It could be overdone, but if it's done right, can be really memorable. Sad music...honestly, the best music/art/poems I have ever written have been when I was sad. I have made songs while happy as well, but they aren't very good. To me, it has to do with the limitations of expressing sadness vs happiness in my own experiences. Generic songs about breakups tend to sick though most times.
