There is a whole pvp mode in ds3 seperate from the invasions that has free for alls, one on ones, two on twos, three on threes, and there might be a bigger mode. If you are looking for a big map and tactical choices look elsewhere though. The map for the arena is just a small area where you fight to the death.

Well you cant just not consider it pvp. Thats not how it works. If two players are fighting eachother, its pvp.
