What exactly were you gonna gain from killing a strike boss for the 4th time in an hour? Lol
May aswell have accepted the first party invite you got, made 2 new buddies, and farmed some keys together.
Instead it turned into some bitter and childish stand off over something as trivial as who has dibs on a shitty strike lol in which you would gain nothing.
Pretty pathetic behaviour all around if you ask me.

We dont know that for sure man. Look, i get some people are straight out dicks. But some people also genuinelly just want to be friends too sometimes. And as i said, it was worth a risk. At worst you reload the strike playlist. Which is trivial. On the flip side, could have had a nice night of multiplayer and made 2 friends.

I think they were inviting him only to be able to kick him which sends him back to orbit and out of the strike.

Ive had people invite me at omnigul and the undying mind before. Sometimes i join the party, sometimes i dont. The way i see it, nothing ventured nothing gained. If it were me, id have taken a chance. Its always cool to meet new people to play with at random places in the game. But thats just my opinion. Ops post sounded totally uneccesary to me. Worst case scenario is he may have had to rerun a simple strike. Best case scenario, he makes 2 new friends and they chill and farm some keys. Maybe check out a nightfall after. Lots of possibilities

The OP wanted to farm for reputation, and would've gained some keys from that. The other people could've loaded the strike on 320 light, and farmed for keys there
