I have little trouble when soloing the Fused and Enhanced SIVA Offerings, just the Perfected (I figure they were meant to be tackled with a team/other guardians). The short time-out timer is there for when everyone dies at the same time, thereby ending the event because you (and whoever else is with you) failed. The Archon's Forge (like Court of Oryx) is meant to be taken on with a team. Why? 'Cause Bungie wants this to be a 'shared-world' shooter. The problem isn't the time-out timer, it's the RNG entry points that 'matchmake' at random, sending a group of 4 or 5 coming in from the Archon's Keep to split up, unwillingly. If Bungie cracks down on the 'matchmaking', I believe people could team up easier rather than having to go to extra lengths to find people (ex: LFG, Tower invites).
