4 hours of strikes and only one key.
I have played 4 hours worth of strikes, 2 hours of Siva Crisis and 2 hours of Heroic Siva Crisis, and have only picked up a single key. The only benefit for me to do these are to open the chests at the end but with such low drop rates, it isn't really worth the time. Incredibly frustrating.
Edit: picked up my first skeleton key since October 19th. It is now November 3rd. So far i think I've picked up a total of maybe 6 keys since roi released. That includes the 3 from the quest line.

My problem with the skeleton keys is this: I had 5 skeleton keys in my inventory when I started playing the heroic strike playlist, and then they disappeared. After I had 5, the next strike I played was the cabal brothers strike. At the end of the strike, a skeleton key dropped, and I tried to use one of my keys and then pick the dropped one up. Neither of that happened because the mission ended before i could open the chest. When I went to orbit, I realized that I had no more skeleton keys. They disappeared from my inventory and are not in my vault!!! That is frustrating! I've read online that this has been another common issue besides the low rng for the keys. Any word on when bungie will fix this?

I heard you have to pay bungie money and beg on your knees for 5-6 strikes before you get that 5% chance at best. Kidding around. Oh wait no i'm not because [spoiler] [u][b]Skeleton key drop rate is TERRIBLE[/b][/u].[/spoiler] I'm not even gonna run strikes anymore because they aren't worth it at all, thanks for the 2 blues that are the same exact light level. What a waste of time.

I am so frustrated, I just start strike, and stand there, move around a bit, and wait to be pulled forward.

Done about 7 or 8 strikes now and no keys.. i've seen about 4 drop for other players.. With 3oc i did get an exotic chest/heavy though.. guess it evens it out even know i'll probably get an exotic i already have..

yeah drop rate is insane I have had only two drop at all so far !!!!!! did my book ones right away and not ONE drop to do all those

17 RisposteYou make it sound like 4 hours is alot of time for a strike when it takes roughly 45-60 minutes with an average strike team to complete one heroic. In reality youve only done 10 strikes. 1/10 strikes is regular rng at its worst. You make it sound like youre supposed to get 3-5 keys EVERY 10 strikes, which would just ruin economy by increasing your light level by like 30 in 3 days of grinding. Just saying.

Yep this was a good idea. And should have stayed as an idea. Terrible. Lame rewards. Lame drop rate. Just bad all around.

12 RisposteThe key idea is a good idea but the drop rate is way too low. Especially since the rewards are also RNG as well as the stats being RNG. Spent 2 days attempting to farm a decent Imago Loop. 1 key dropped and I got the Titan class item. Haven't touched destiny in a few days because I'm just too burned out on shitty grinds that will be 100% useless once D2 drops.

I found that they key to farming shit is not to think about it. Whenever I was grinding up my friend we never got anything to drop, i've been doing my 10 heroics for the exotic faction item quest and so far i've gotten 4/8.

Battlefield 1 4 hours of gameplay will net you some guaranteed wow moments and insane battles. Don't support a developer that doesn't support you

Speaking of mega grinding, I did 6pm-11.45 pm last night on the exotic engram farm just to get a chest too raise my chest armour above 390. Didn't get any chest engrams. Got 6 or 7 of everything else though. First boss this morning got a chest. Now i need more chests to get it above 394. :)

I disagree. The current drop rate is fine especially since the chests give rewards up to 400 light.

Play siva crisis strikes keys have much higher drop rate 4 some reason
