I've been on since day one and I've been saying this for nearly two years. Trust me, Bungie cares way more about the "Hardcore" crowd then they do the rest of us. That being said the PVE damage buffs are quite nice, most guns seem to work great of right out of the box. Plus PVP and twitch streamers are what makes this game it's money, so it's only reasonable for Bungie to follow those dollar signs.
