Do 3 of Coins still work?
Pre-RoI it would take two or three instances of stacking two 3oC to get an exotic. Post-RoI I have used about 12 with zero exotics. I mean, I haven't got an exotic engram with or without 3oC while doing Crucible, story, or patrol since RoI release. What's up with that? Are drop rates significantly reduced to begin with, or do 3oC no longer work?
Please enlighten me!

I was wondering the same thing because I used 12 of them farming black garden. And I stopped using them because I never got an exotic drop. I have never use more than 10 and always get an exotic when I use between 6 and 9 three of coins. And I have not used three of coins in a couple of weeks it's since xur has not been selling them. However I received 10 of them from doing the Nightfall and I had 4 already. After I used 12 I stopped wasting them because it seem like they no longer we're working.

What have you geniuses at Bungie done now to screw up 3oC? It was working fine in Iron Banner until today. Now after a match that I lost, Exotic Particles are still present, meaning 3oC wasn't applied. Now Exotic Particles are only applied and go away upon a crucible victory. Is that on purpose? Because with Bungie, their "fixes" and "improvements" are hard to distinguish from glitches and errors.

Same problem here. 20 plus heroics strikes with 3 of coins and only one drop...

8 RisposteI had 40 3ocs today, did the black garden farm, popped one after each minotaur, and the end of the day I got 2 exotic engrams (universal remote, and nemesis star) they kinda work but at this point in time I'm leaning towards they're not worth it

Having similar problems, though I'm not tracking it to a tee, where it seems I'm tearing through coins. I only use a single coin and bounce around to allow for the 'undefined' timer, (thx for that Bungie - you can timer ammo syn' but not a coin...), and was having good success with exotic drops. Now not so much. THey drop but takes a lot of different runs - Strike, pvp etc.

12 RisposteThree of Coins are still working as intended - they don't give you a guarantee that an exotic will drop after killing an ultra or completing a Crucible match, but an increased chance.

1 RispondiWell its funny you should say that, because I used to get one every 3 - 7 3oc , since ROI I haven't had one drop, and I have used like 20 3oc ;( I thinks its bugged.
