There was a spread of "Tech-mites" a couple days ago. I don't know who Patient Zero is but once he got the things (aka in-game buffs) most likely from the Psion Flayers strike on Mars, he started spreading them. No thousands of people have one buff or all five buffs, depending on who you contracted them from by orb pickup or killing them in crucible, and nobody knows what's behind it all. The mites look like the old Nightfall burning head buff from long ago, just rainbow colored and sparkly lol. Seems like almost everyone you see now has this "SpaceAIDS" disease XD

Damn that's cool. I'm overseas on vacation until October 5. I guess my guardian won't be getting space AIDS.

Ahh, sorry man. Watch some videos on it though, it's a fantastic ARG (Alternate Reality Game) Bungie has done. And some pretty sweet lore! There is another theory that this is "Grimoire in the making", absolutely fantastic.

Haha no not exactly. Another theory (purely speculation) is that the SpaceAIDS could become deadly and potentially kill off all the infected guardians, thus introducing Destiny 2. Making everyone start from scratch, and making a new "Collapse". I really like that idea, but it is just a theory.
