I was able to play just fine after the update. I was happy. Then decided to pre-order rise of Iron and after that finished downloading I consistently get the chicken error code and can't play at all. Now I don't know if it's because of ROI, or the game itself. I'm frustrated because of 5 days of Tapir now I'll have unknown amount of days of Chicken. Please update us.
