Do any of them still exist or are possibly still alive? If so do you think they will be In the future of destiny? What role will they play?

They certainly still exist elsewhere. They came to our system during the Golden Age, and we think we wiped out those that came. Even if we assume we got them all, there's still plenty wherever they actually came from.
