I've experienced this on the other end. im a much better player than most of my closest friends so if they go into crucible with me they do exponentially worse than they do on their own and some just avoid crucible in its entirety now or outright refuse to go into PvP with me. PvP is my favorite thing to do in destiny and I'm finding it increasingly more difficult to play with my closest friends.
