[b]The beasts are driven back to almost half the hallway as the burst assists Tubbs by firing her purple shots. The gate opens but the Arpat tribe is finished off by rifle fire. The burst runs through the gate, along with the rest of the infiltration team. This includes Zane. Tubbs holds them off as the rest of the team makes their way through. As he turns to leave...
He's met by the barrel of a gun. He sees a blinding flash and a searing pain moves across his cheekbone as his skull rings like a bell. He falls backwards, onto the stair case, blood flowing from his face.[/b]
Harken: "Adios Sargent."
Anne: "WHAT?! WHAT ARE YOU-"
[b]The gate shuts to a close with a massive thud. Tubbs, has been left for dead. [/b]
[spoiler]Tubbs you will now have your own quest line during the assault. You are no longer apart of the infiltration. Get ready for bad assery. Your post will be made tomorrow.[/spoiler]
[spoiler]Zane takes it from here for just a few replies, then twig goes [/spoiler]

Considering his actions in Khalosh, we didn't doubt it at all." Harken: "Exactly. He is a psychopath. In fact I'm sure that as soon as you give him a ridiculous reward, he'd betray us in an instant!" Burst: "Tsk tsk tsk. So hostile. Paranoid too." Harken: "So it wasn't the right thing to do is that it disco fritz?!" "I never said that. That's up to you. Just that now we are down one more man..." Eric: "Well it's could have been two if we let him come with us." >Agree with the kage >Kill the kage >Try to go back for Tubbs

Just...keep up hope that he makes it though this alright? We can all get a beer or something." [b]She gives Zane a smile in an attempt to give him some optimism.[/b]

*Shadow drops down out of the shadows where she was relaxing and smirks as her cloak drops, appearing next to them as they run* "So, what now, oh glorious leader?"

Anne: "We keep making our way to the observatory! We just have to keep running right these hallways, take a left and a right, then move up a staircase." [b]The stone castle walls ace the dusk move up them like water. Along the walls is some decor. Such a vases, book cases and rugs.[/b] [b]There are no windows to be found. So an ambush is unlikely. But the hallways are much more narrow and confined in this section of the castle.[/b]

*Shadow nods as she begins to weave a particularly nasty spell, weaving it with the One Power instead of magic. She jogs to the front, a smirk on her face as she follows the directions*

[b]Anne seems intrigued. And also jogs to the front.[/b] "Shadow...what are you doing?"

"Preparing a welcoming gift for any guests that crash our party. Next turn is left, yes?" *She turns down the left hallway, looking at Anna*

"Yeah. Left." [b]As the team stands in the hallway, a giant knight stands. He spots the team, and readies. [/b] "We can't all fight him at once in This hallway. It's a choke point!"

"Alright, my turn." *She releases the spell and it rushes the knight. As it hits him, it overwhelms his mind and he stands still, ready for orders* "Knight, stay ahead of me and protect this group." *Turning to Anna, Shadow grins* "Compulsion weave. Makes anyone obey me." *The knight turns to stand a few feet in front of Shadow, waiting* "Well, now where?"

"Whoa! Not gunna lie...that's useful." [b][i]War Asset gained: Twilight Knight[/i][/b] "We should just be able to head down this hallway, then take a right."

"Alright. Onward my Knight!!" *Shadow leaps up to lay on the Knight's shoulders and points forwards* "Follow the girl!!"

[b]The group runs down the hallway. But they are met with an unpleasant surprise. Dozens of shadow beasts coat the hallway ahead of them. As they turn to move back, more shadow beasts appear behind the team. They are completely surrounded.[/b] Ralphus: "Hehehehehehe. What fun!" [b]A projection of Ralphus appears in the centre of the hallway.[/b] "Look at all of you! So...surprised!" Anne: "Ralphus!" "Oh hello dear princess. Sorry for the cold welcoming but...well I hate you. Oh! And if it isn't shadow! I remember our last encounter quite fondly!"

"Huh. I thought it went differently last time, but hey, it's your opinion." *Shadow shrugs as she wiggles her fingers behind the Knight's back, trying to trace the projection's link back to it's master*

"Mmmmm. Indeed." Anne: "You don't really think that this little "trap" is gunna stop us do you Ralphus?" "Oh no not at all. But, my goal here IS TO KILL AS MANY OF YOU AS I POSSIBLY CAN! ATTACK THEM MY MINIONS! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" [b]The shadow beasts all charge at the group at once.[/b]
