[b]The infiltration team is thrown out the other side. Everyone quickly gets up as the kage clan tries to open the door.[/b]
Eric: "It's locked?! Harken! Get on that computer there!"
[b]A blue lit computer is attached to the wall. Harken moves towards it and starts to hack it.[/b]
Harken: "Oh boy. This is gunna take a while."
Anne: "How long Harken?!"
Harken: "Erghhhh...ten minutes."
"TEN MINUTES?!"
[b]The shadow beasts wonder where the group has gone. They turn towards the infiltration team and begin to sprint towards them.[/b]

I have an idea! [b]i close the portal and make a new huge one in front of us that blocks the hallway[/b] [b]the other portal is a bit far away from the Windows[/b] That should buy us some time. But just in case... [b]a huge wall of fire appears around us[/b]

Anne: "good work Tubbs!" [b]The beasts run towards them. But stop at the edge of the portal. Everyone fires their ranged weapons to keep them back further.[/b]

"Saving our asses." [b]Eric chuckles as he fires at the shadow beasts with his pistol. But he doesn't even empty his magazine before he switches to his assault rifle. The shadow beasts begin to look at the walls. And riflemen pool in from the end of the hallway. Taking shots a the group. The leader of the Arpat tribe is shot through the skull, and falls to the ground. Dead.[/b]

[b]i start shooting the enemies with Cupid's Bow again[/b] Well what a great job you guys did. Only 6 Arpat members left.

[b]The burst, her purple hat gleaming, releases her drones to attack the shadow beasts.[/b] "Mmmm. Trash talk honey? That's not a good way to make friends." Eric: "AND ITS ANNOYING!" [b]The shadow beasts climb up the walls, and begin to drop down on the team.[/b] Harken: "Almost got it! Tubbs! Keep that fire and portal up as long as you can! We need you to cover us when we move in!"

Will do! See that Kages? He asked me! [b]i shoot the beasts that get in so they can help me cover everyone later[/b] [b]i pull out my Yuk.87 and shoot 3 turrets on the ceiling that shoot every aggressive beasts(the ones not helping because Cupid's Bow)[/b] [b]i then get Cupid's Bow again and keep shooting beasts[/b]

Eric: "Did he just forget you are a kage?!" Harken: "Apparently!" Burst: "Mmmm. That's enough arguing boys. Time to focus..." [b]The burst aims her hand, which is shaped like a cylindrical cone.[/b] "At the task at hand..." [b]She fires purple balls of electricity at her enemies which take out dozens per shot. [/b] Anne: "Harken! The door?! How long?!" "One more minute!" [spoiler]Maybe a power attack should be used now...?[/spoiler]

[spoiler]perhaps[/spoiler] [b]i take Poseidon's staff and spray water over the fire until the floor is one big puddle[/b] [b]i shoot another arrow into the water and it electrocutes it causing most of the demons to be electrocuted[/b] [b]i then start throwing fire spears and place 3 in front of us all that will stab any enemy who comes near[/b]

The gate opens but the Arpat tribe is finished off by rifle fire. The burst runs through the gate, along with the rest of the infiltration team. This includes Zane. Tubbs holds them off as the rest of the team makes their way through. As he turns to leave... He's met by the barrel of a gun. He sees a blinding flash and a searing pain moves across his cheekbone as his skull rings like a bell. He falls backwards, onto the stair case, blood flowing from his face.[/b] Harken: "Adios Sargent." Anne: "WHAT?! WHAT ARE YOU-" [b]The gate shuts to a close with a massive thud. Tubbs, has been left for dead. [/b] [spoiler]Tubbs you will now have your own quest line during the assault. You are no longer apart of the infiltration. Get ready for bad assery. Your post will be made tomorrow.[/spoiler] [spoiler]Zane takes it from here for just a few replies, then twig goes [/spoiler]

Considering his actions in Khalosh, we didn't doubt it at all." Harken: "Exactly. He is a psychopath. In fact I'm sure that as soon as you give him a ridiculous reward, he'd betray us in an instant!" Burst: "Tsk tsk tsk. So hostile. Paranoid too." Harken: "So it wasn't the right thing to do is that it disco fritz?!" "I never said that. That's up to you. Just that now we are down one more man..." Eric: "Well it's could have been two if we let him come with us." >Agree with the kage >Kill the kage >Try to go back for Tubbs

[b]The Kage clan members look at each other. Then harken shoots the computer on the side of the door.[/b] [b]There is no way to open the large door now.[/b]

"I know Zane. I know. But...you have to realize that he is dangerous. I know he is your friend. But as long as the Kage are around...he's a threat. Just...keep up hope that he makes it though this alright? We can all get a beer or something." [b]She gives Zane a smile in an attempt to give him some optimism.[/b]

*Shadow drops down out of the shadows where she was relaxing and smirks as her cloak drops, appearing next to them as they run* "So, what now, oh glorious leader?"

Anne: "We keep making our way to the observatory! We just have to keep running right these hallways, take a left and a right, then move up a staircase." [b]The stone castle walls ace the dusk move up them like water. Along the walls is some decor. Such a vases, book cases and rugs.[/b] [b]There are no windows to be found. So an ambush is unlikely. But the hallways are much more narrow and confined in this section of the castle.[/b]
