"Alright, my turn." *She releases the spell and it rushes the knight. As it hits him, it overwhelms his mind and he stands still, ready for orders* "Knight, stay ahead of me and protect this group." *Turning to Anna, Shadow grins* "Compulsion weave. Makes anyone obey me." *The knight turns to stand a few feet in front of Shadow, waiting* "Well, now where?"

"Whoa! Not gunna lie...that's useful." [b][i]War Asset gained: Twilight Knight[/i][/b] "We should just be able to head down this hallway, then take a right."

"Alright. Onward my Knight!!" *Shadow leaps up to lay on the Knight's shoulders and points forwards* "Follow the girl!!"

[b]The group runs down the hallway. But they are met with an unpleasant surprise. Dozens of shadow beasts coat the hallway ahead of them. As they turn to move back, more shadow beasts appear behind the team. They are completely surrounded.[/b] Ralphus: "Hehehehehehe. What fun!" [b]A projection of Ralphus appears in the centre of the hallway.[/b] "Look at all of you! So...surprised!" Anne: "Ralphus!" "Oh hello dear princess. Sorry for the cold welcoming but...well I hate you. Oh! And if it isn't shadow! I remember our last encounter quite fondly!"

"Huh. I thought it went differently last time, but hey, it's your opinion." *Shadow shrugs as she wiggles her fingers behind the Knight's back, trying to trace the projection's link back to it's master*

"Mmmmm. Indeed." Anne: "You don't really think that this little "trap" is gunna stop us do you Ralphus?" "Oh no not at all. But, my goal here IS TO KILL AS MANY OF YOU AS I POSSIBLY CAN! ATTACK THEM MY MINIONS! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" [b]The shadow beasts all charge at the group at once.[/b]

"We have the front. Knight, attack the beasts!!!" *As the Knight rushes at the shadow beasts, Shadow rolls off of his shoulders and redirects the magic she was using into mythril knives that she sends into the eyes of several of the beasts. She leaves two for herself and begins slashing throats as she slips through the bodies with ease.*

[b]The beasts seem to be trying to plan. Otherwise, the charge at the group. Anne cuts them down but Gwyns Knights move ahead of her, acting as a shield in the hallway. They raise their shields and but the beasts down in a phalanx. The Kage clan assist shadows side as they open fire.[/b]

[b]Zane sends a wave of fire and lighting at the twilight beasts, then draws his Gunblade. He opens fire.[/b]

[b]Riflemen position themselves behind the beasts, and fire. They shoot through the Knights shields and start to whittle them down.[/b]

[b]He slashes and send a wave of energy at the rifleman, then switches to his Buster sword and slams it Info the ground sending a shockwave at the beasts[/b]

Then, one with rocket launcher come out, and fires. The Knights sprint forward towards it, and a massive explosion coats the hallway, wiping out the flank of twili rebels. The infiltration team is fine. But the Knights are dead. [/b] [b]The team still has to deal with the creatures blocking the stair case to the observatory, that is down the hallway.[/b]

[b]He turns and runs at the beasts, sending ice spears at them.[/b]

[b]Everyone runs with Zane, cutting through the beasts like paper. The pale shades stab their rapiers into the beasts as well as their arrows as the burst suppresses the riflemen with her drones.[/b]

[b]He sends more ice spears at the beasts[/b]

[b]They fly back as a new knight charges down the stairs. He swings his shortsword at Zane.[/b]

[b]He parries with his buster sword, then draws his Gunblade and slashes the Knights chest.[/b]

He raises his blade and swings down. It's blocked by a familiar blade, as Anne stands beside Zane, keeping the shortsword from Harming him.[/b] Anne: "Yghaaa!"

[b]He reverses the grip on his blades and stabs him in the chest[/b]

[b]The knight falls back as the rest of the team takes out the remaining shadow beasts.[/b] Burst: "Mmmmm. That pushed me out of my comfort zone! I like it...." Anne: "Ooooookay then." [b]Anne looks towards the spiral staircase ahead.[/b] "The observatory is just up those stairs...ready?"

"Yeah, thanks for that by the way."

"No problem." >Move up the staircase >Only head up with Anne(and other dojo ppls)

"Listen, I'm gonna head up with Anne. I need you guys to hold here in case they try to flank us again."

[b]The team nods as the lieutenants and Anne move up the stairs.[/b] Anne: "okay. We don't know what he has planned Zane. Ralphus is very...tricky."

"That trapped passage also had me concerned. Which means he knows that we're coming for him."
