[b]Anne stands beside Zane and lifts the rug. As they push it to the side and climb up, they are in a circular room. There is a large bed with royal blue sheets. There is a picture on the wall of two people and a child. The room itself seems well
Decorated but poorly lit. Cobwebs line the ceiling and dust rests upon the furniture. There is a large door connected to the room.[/b]
"This must be his room..."

>look around the room

[b]He goes over to the picture, observing it. [/b]

[b]Zane sees Falk. A smile crossing his face. Though it seems forced. Whether it means he's sad, or he just doesn't like Pictures, is up to the beholder. In front of him is a small child. A toddler. It's skin, blue. Just like its fathers. It has a big smile on its face. Beside Falk the picture seems to be torn. But the body of a woman seems to stand beside him, the tear going across where her head should be. Zane notices her hands are in the picture. They two, are blue. [/b]

[b][u]Hm, maybe his wife?[/u][/b] [b]He steps away and looks around the room.[/b]

[b]The room is like a dome. There is a window at the side, and Zane can see the battle raging. The room has been kept neat and tidy. Like someone is trying to keep it that way.[/b]

[b][u]Wonder who's been taking care of the place.[/u][/b] "Hey Anne, who took care of you while your father was gone?"

"Me? Well...the entire castle staff. But mainly the sword master, Fillion. ...he didn't make it when the rebels took the castle." [b]A sad look crosses her face.[/b] "Otherwise, Ri and Phillis here took care of me for a bit but..." [b]Ri and Phillis seem to be doing an odd stretching session. The Knights seem confused yet intrigued as they watch.[/b] "Ya I don't think I need to explain further..."

"Yes...it really was Zane." [b]She lets out a long breath. One of disappointment yet, relief.[/b] "But he's here now right? And...that's what matters!"

"Okay then...." [b]Tubbs opens the door to a large wide hallway. Open windows line the entire side of it. He realizes that this is a bridge of some sorts. At the opposite end lies a staircase with a massive door. ...this is the perfect place for an ambush.[/b]

And the group reaches the middle of the hallway.[/b] Anne: "I don't like this..." Ral'shul: "Agreed. My people would set an ambush here were this an assassination. Something is amiss. ....can someone tell me why that man is invisible still? We can all see him!"

[b]Eric and harken ignore Tubbs as they fire at the shadow beasts, with deadly precision. The team groups together in a circle and begins to hold them off. Though the beasts seem to keep coming and coming.[/b] [b]The Arpat tribe, not used to head on combat, are being torn apart. [/b]
