[b]There does not seem to be any traces of magic lining the tunnel. But, shadow can see the castle shield down the path.
But then, she detects two large magic signatures on both sides of her....[/b]

*Instantly she slips into the shadows, concealing her magical signature. She waits in the dark to spot the intrusions*

Anne: "shadow? Are you-" [b]The two signatures reveal themselves, as the two twilight sorcerers. Ri and Phillis.[/b] Ri: "The goddess is hiding." Phillis: "from who?" "From us." "Why?" "We are magical?" "How does she know?" "Our robes." "No. She has a sense." "Ah, a sense." "Indeed."

*Shadow slips back out, still hiding her magic as she looks at the duo* "Foolish. Hide your magic before any more of them detect us. If you can't, set up a perimeter behind us for 20 yards, then set up a reactive barrier in front of the main group. Ambushes always happen at the worst of times."

[b]The sorcerers look at each other, then to shadow.[/b] "She calls us foolish." "Yet she wants to set a perimeter" "In a narrow pathway." "Does she also think the twilight has her sense?" "I believe so." "Now that's what's foolish." "Indeed." "And she doesn't see the barrier we have already surrounded the group in?" "Maybe she is hiding that from us." "Oh. Clever girl." "Indeed." "Time to take down the shield?" "Indeed." [b]The two sorcerers move past shadow and towards the shield. They begin to chant.[/b] [spoiler]So now this would be a good beat to switch off with someone else.[/spoiler]

Phillis: "He cannot see?" Ri: "He cannot. He is not one of us." "Shall we grant him wisdom?" "Yes, we shall." [b]Zane feels a small feeling come over him. Like someone put an ice cube on his shoulder. He sees the blue barrier covering that path, and blocking their way.[/b]

"Chilly. I take it that barrier is to prevent the enemy from using this path?"

Anne: "The shield is meant to keep everything out. Only Ralphus can open and close it completely." [b]The sorcerers begins to grab the middle of the shield and pry it open. As if they are tearing apart a clear blue curtain. Artorias seems ready to move through as soon as its down.[/b]

"Does he know of the passage? If he does it possible that he could have trapped it."

"I'm not sure. My father said it was incredibly well hidden so...I guess we should still be cautious." [b]The sorcerers open the shield and the infiltration team moves through.[/b] "After you!"

*Shadow sighs at the antics of the two children as she continues on her way on the ceiling, invisible and undetectable*

[spoiler]Yaaa we'll just switch off [/spoiler] [b]Aronditas quickly moves forward. And the hallways becomes more straight. Through it lies a narrow staircase, built of stone.[/b] "YA! Over here guys! Let's roll!" [b]Ar moves forward with his shield up. But shadow notices something...odd. About the hallway.[/b]

*Shadow sends out a small pulse of low-frequency energy as she calls out softly* "Wait... Something isn't right..."

Let me-" [b]Ar looks down to find a broken string.[/b] "Huh. I wonder what-" [b]His sentence is interrupted by a massive spear soaring out of the wall. It flies into Ar's skull and sends him into the opposite wall. His limp dead body hanging by his broken skull.[/b] Anne: "OH NO!" Harken: "Holy shit!" [b]More sounds of gears begin to turn. This isn't the end. [/b]

[b]Zane sends up an ice wall in front of them.[/b] "God DAMNIT! What the hell was that?!"

"Trap. Stupid mortals and their confidence." *Shadow sends another pulse down the corridor, hoping to find any more anomalies down the hallway*

"Anne, I take it you didn't know about the traps?"

*Shadow continues walking on the ceiling down the hallway* "It is a trap. Get you head in the game."

"No...it looks like some sort of device." Eric: "Then it's probably a trap." [b]A pale shade walks forward[/b] "Allow me to test. I can deem what it does." >Let the pale shade test it. >Do not.

"Alright, maybe try walking on the concrete between the tiles?"

"That would make sense." [b]The lizard man of the Arpat tribe walks up.[/b] Ra'shul: "I think I've sssssseen this in a movie before." Anne: "alright everyone. Walk across the floor. CAREFULLY. Don't step on the diamonds!" [b]Anne takes the first step. And the concrete is safe to walk on. The group begins to walk across.[/b]

*Shadow, looking back, sets small shields over the plates that are marked, preventing them from being stepped on* "Hmph. Think cleverer, not harder."

[b]He follows, keeping an eye out for more traps.[/b]
