Thunderstrike needs to be balanced(amplitude nerf)
Because it is not balanced.

28 RisposteThis is incredibly biased. Stormcaller's do have the best melee range hands down. That is true. But keep in mind there are various details that have been omitted here. 1. The stormcaller melee does not receive a damage boost when it's charge is used. The normal, uncharged melee does 121 damage to a player. The same can be said for thunderstrike. 2. The belief that Thunderstrike can be a one hit kill with feedback is FALSE. When activated, feedback boosts the damage of thunderstrike from 121 to 182, which is roughly a 50% increase. Furthermore, the base health for a guardian in pvp is 200. So 200-182=18. Totally a one shot... 3. ALL other melee abilities do significantly more base damage. The striker melee does close to, if not well over 150 damage. The same can be said for throwing knife, blink strike, scorch, etc. And im not even going to mention the backstab glitch that is surprisingly still a thing for hunters. Needless to mention Nightstalkers, whose smoke melee, when used with envenom does 110 damage ON IMPACT, and then continues with a 7-damage per tick dot onto the target in pvp. 4. The vast majority of warlock mains aren't even aware of the extent of this melee range. How often does getting hit at this supposed "god range" actually happen? So asks yourself, is it truly overpowered in the broad spectrum of all 9 subclasses?

I swear, some hunters, not all of them, are so pathetic. They cry about sunsingers, we get nerfed. They cried and some still cry about Shoulder Charge which isn't even anywhere near OP. I know some warlocks and some titans complained about blink strike but you're telling me the perk backstab should activate by hitting my chest? That's called broken. Thunderstrike isn't broken/OP just like SC isn't. By the way, that video was made by TripleWreck if I'm not wrong and he's a hunter main lol. Once again, it's not all hunters, just some. [spoiler]Stop crying for nerfs, ask for buffs to other things.[/spoiler]

Its a perk its not like it comes with the melee itself I'm a main hunter and don't see the problem y'all bitched about blink strike when it had that kind of range but I see why but that's a perk for the melee on a warlock there's no need to Nerf it your just the idiot who rushes them without thinking.

2 RisposteI am being honest but have you ever played Stormcaller? It's super is amazing yes. But what makes it special is its melee. The grenades are honestly shit. The melee is what makes the class special. Just like your trip mines and throwing knives. See how ineffective the trip mines are with damage and sticky removed? Don't nerf something. Just kill them before they kill you. End of story. The only class that needs so fixing is Sunsinger.

Its not OP in anway unless you're bad at this game, do you want the subass to end up like sunsinger and become useless? Because if you get another subclass nerfed your fav subclass will become too good and get nerfed too eventually. Your crying for nerf will comeback to haunt you eventually because karmas a bish.

26 RisposteStormcallers have no neutral evasive maneuvers, no unique defensive/healing abilities, mediocre grenades, and an awkward jump. Their melee and super are all they have going for them. If you're going to nerf their melee, then they're going to need a buff somewhere else to make up for it.

8 RisposteDoesn't every class and subclass have one thing that makes them good? ie shadestep, shoulder charge, invisibility, throwing knife etc etc. Thunderstrike is the stormcallers thing, yes it's stronger than some melees but it's a perk of using stormcaller. Every bitchin nerf post is only pushing every class to be the same that's not the kind of balance that's good. Just stop your goddam complaining. Let bungie assess the stats and balance based on these. If a class or subclass is lagging behind buff something there instead of ruining everything good in the game.

1 RispondiTo all of you people defending the melee range you have to realize how broken it is. It has more range than a shotgun so unless you get the first shot you are garunteed to lose a shotgun battle to a warcuck.
