As a taken tot that has played against multiple thorns, I can say that me going against it does not feel like I'm going to lose the engagement immediately. I've died maybe four times to dot, vs killing most or just being outplayed. I don't think it's broken anymore from my experience. Little hawk with good rolls assassinates it. That said, as a handcannon collector, I really want this gun.
