I usually outgun thorn users with mini hawk or word of crota, and the dot rarely kills me. It seems like it may be balanced now, at least in the matches I've played against them, and if it truly is, it would be a welcome addition imo. But I really really really want an anti thorn handcannon, think tfc vs tlw, but with both options being good.

Yea man I agree with you. They did nerf the thorn so as long as the new one isn't OP like pre nerf thorn then I'm fine with it being back. If it's OP then we'll need to be using that ornament to reduce DoT effects lol
