Increase Planet Material Stack Sizes
Bungie,
I currently have 43 inventory spaces taken up by planet materials. Can you please have them stack in to the thousands to save space?
Examples of items that do this:
Armor Parts
Weapon Parts
Motes
Ascendant Shards
Ascendant Energy
Radiant Shards
Radiant Energy
And on and on.
Oh, and ammo synthesis needs this, too.

1 RispondiI don't understand why anything has limits. Why put a limit on material, glimmer, marks, etc. 999 would be a good limit... it's just a number after all right?

2 RisposteSince our inventory doesn't care about volume or weight... put them on the ship. Ghost can ferry items when needed. Why do I even need to look at these things? This far into the life of the game small stacks and items that can't be discarded is just plain silly. I would like materials to just have a shared counter on my glimmer/marks screen for all my characters to use. I don't ever need to see them in my inventory again.

I agree increasing it wouldn't hurt, but the real question is why are you keeping those materials to begin with? I usually keep 1 stack of each in my vault for a rainy day, and one stack on each character. Everytime a stack doubles up I quickly get rid of it. There's absolutely no need to keep that many unless you are planning to level up a faction, even though the use of materials if the worse way to do so. In terms of inventory/vault one of the biggest issues I find is not being able to dismantle ammo synthesis. Since KF came out I've accumulated somewhat close to 600 Primary ammo synthesis that I simple can't rid of.

1 RispondiIt's stupid that they have a stack size. Armor parts don't stack. Weapons parts don't stack. So the capability is there and has been there since the start. Remember when the stack size was like, what, 20? Or was it 50? It was something hilariously low.

8 RisposteI imagine with RoI (hopefully) or Destiny 2, this problem will be resolved. Legacy consoles probably held back the ability to have 500 or even 1000 unit stacks at a time. I'm not positive on that, but it would seem to make sense.

Especially since they show game feeds and reveals and whenever you look at their material count it's always 99,999 or some ridiculous number that they have. But whatevs. I'll live with what I have.

This is a massive pet peeve if mine. Why not just have these things stack indefinitely instead of maxing out at 200 before they take up another slot in the inventory.

3 RispostePerhaps we'll get more storage space once they drop legacy consoles. I believe that storage space was one of the things they claimed was limited due to legacy console constraints.
