The current gen consoles have been out for more than 3 years now. It is time to move on if you are serious into gaming even a little bit. I am of the camp that I want companies to quit making games for both gens. Next gen only please. We should get better overall games across the board without catering to so many system parameters. If they gave you any gift at all it should be the ability to carry over your game data to next gen so you won't have wasted your time. That's all you need.
