Apparently when the player plays "Control" (for example), the "Control" Card will not count matches made while in Iron Banner. The cards only count matches made under the Crucible menu options for each match type, not any of the "special" events like "Iron Banner", "Crimson Doubles", or "Trials of Osiris" regardless what match types are being used for those events. I also noticed the same thing about Strikes. The various Strikes only count matches made from the planetary maps, none from the Vanguard Stike menu. This should at some point be fixed. But, as many would agree, the Grimoire is not to be considered a high value issue. But I would like all of the credit for the matches that I do, including the match counts on each of the Grimoire cards. This has been an ongoing issue since year one. Someone should have looked into fixing this by now.
