Rise of Iron DLC
Dear Bungie, in all honesty I strongly feel you guys as a company would be doing your players a great service by allowing us playstation 3 owners to have access to the rise of iron DLC/ game. not everyone have the money to go and purchase a playstation 4. so with that in mind I would like to start a petition to have it imported to the ps3. it is not a "dying system" because there are still a great deal of players still playing the ps3. for all who want the rise of iron imported to ps3 please comment the word "IMPORT" or "Rise of Iron" in order to sign the petition for an import of the dlc to the ps3 system. Thank you to all guardians. keep up the good work!

It's not dying? Send Sony a message asking for sales inquiries. They have near 500 billion dollars in assets. Im sure they will confirm the PS3 it not worth anyone's time right now.

7 RisposteThere's a very, very good reason that Rise of Iron isn't coming to PS3 [i]or[/i] Xbox 360. And that's the hardware. The X360 is a decade old. Come November, the PS3 will be too. The new DLC will be demanding. They've promised us a spectacle. How can they possibly deliver something of that kind of caliber when they're working with 10-year-old hardware? The old consoles are being phased out, as they should be. The current generation have been around for, what, three years? [i]Plenty[/i] of time to upgrade your console. These old consoles have been [b]discontinued[/b] for goodness sake. We can't expect developers to continue pushing the hardware on 10y/o consoles [b]when there's nothing left to push.[/b] The old consoles are dead. No one develops for them anymore. The sooner you accept that, the better off you'll be.

1 RispondiThey are giving Destiny a bit of a graphics upgrade with RoI, so if they gave it to you guys too, Destiny probably would crash your consoles. Then the last few of you would go on here and bitch about how a console with essentially an iPod 4 processor can't handle a graphics upgrade, and then get shit on by the rest of the community.

Everyone with empathy would sympathise with your situation but personally I'll be doing you a disservice if I didn't bring a reality check. -Sony and Mircosoft have already announced they no longer support last gen. No new games are being developed for PS3 and Xbox360 with this in mind. -Regarding Destiny, content would have to be removed for a last gen supported Rise of Iron. So we lose an undisclosed amount of content, which could include strikes, story missions and crucible maps or we trim legacy consoles that really only amount to less then 10% of the player base. You kinda see why Bungie chose the latter route.
