Has anyone here gotten it done? How was it? How's your vision now compared to before? I've worn glasses for years, and I'm finally thinking about making the leap and getting it done. Also, about how much did the total ordeal cost you?

She sees distances fine now, but sometimes needs reading glasses for things up close (she was nearsighted). Most places offer a free consult/exam, so just drop by your local centre and see what they have to say. No idea what it costs now or where you live, but from what I remember it's not cheap, and some insurances don't cover it.
