It's a vicious cycle. The normal players like me don't attempt it because there are guys carrying others through. The playing pool has restricted over time, leaving only the super awesome guys, making it that much harder for casuals to compete. To the point the only way to get to the lighthouse is to get assistance from a really good player. Something I don't have the patience to pursue. That's one of the unintended consequences of not limiting players that have been to the lighthouse that reset.
