I personally think it's an intriguing prospect, and he even does the Darth Vader Force choke on the Master Chief during the breaking, just like the UrDidact did during the missions Forerunner and Midnight. And if the Warden is pulling the strings with the Cortana, that would explain why she quotes the UrDidact directly.
