Regarding the news of LoI not being opened up to the last gen consoles, I was thinking about something... Back when we were all still in the throes of ecstasy in Y1, Bungie made us all an offer, upgrade to the latest gen, and you won't have to pay for Destiny twice. It was a calculated move, likely "encouraged" by the console makers, to help convince users to make the move. Now, people are being motivated to switch up because they won't finish the available content for D1 without it. So, does the offer from Bungie still stand? If we who have refused to play this round of 'console wars' do shell out $300 for a new console (for me it's the X-bone) will Bungie still let us download Destiny without paying? Is that incentive for anyone to bite the bullet on a new console? Just wondering.
