I'm not going to lie, they should have initially made Destiny for the current gen consoles back in 2013. From where we are today it's like people who didn't want to buy a Blu-ray player when their DVD player still worked. The current gen consoles have been out for 3 years almost... 3 freaking years! Those systems came out over 10 years ago! Get over it, I ate a pb&j everyday for 3 months straight to save up and buy the PS4. Yes I just bought the PS3 two years before. But I could tell a remarkable difference after playing it on the PS4
For those of you who wish to believe it plays and looks exactly the same check out the video, you will be surprised. I catch myself viewing out into the Cosmodrome all the time. EDIT 2: Thanks again for all the support guys, once again I understand what some people mean by having to change to a new system, buy the same game again. But listen to me and wait until they announce either a system bundle or deluxe edition ROI. It will save you lots of moneys and it will give you some time to save up and decide if sticking with your manufacturer or going to the "other" brand (Ps4 has exclusives 😄) Stay salty guardians and see you all in September!

2 RisposteI'm happy about this, TTK barely could run on last gen for me. I blame the teleporting -blam!-biscuits known as taken. Whenever a Zealot would appear the frame rate would go from 40fps to 27fps(Idk the actual frame rates but it felt like that) I'm sorry last gen, but you've had three years to upgrade. Stop suckling daddy's tit and get a job.

60 fps, I doubt it. They may make it cleaner and explorable areas may be much bigger, but it doesn't change the fact that this game is a last gen game model with updated graphics. It's an awesome thing that they are finally leaving last gen behind but I doubt we will see anything significant till destiny 2. Or if somehow this gets a major programming rewright.

I don't really care but why switch mid game instead of at destiny 2? Old-gen wasn't holding new-get back so it doesn't really make sense. Seems like they're deliberately trying to cut players, I guarantee there are more players willing to buy the DLC than buy a whole new console, game, and DLC.

Do I agree with it yes and no. They started the support for the ps3 and 360 so they really should continue it till destiny 2 comes out. It really would be fair to continue support till then especially since there is no official time table for when destiny 2 will be made let alone released. But at the same time with the ps4 and xbone being out for as long as it has and the many deals avaliable now a days you do have to ask why haven't you upgraded yet? Hell most kids today get enough money from birthdays, holidays, and probably chores/work around the house to buy one used if not new. So yeah I say they should continue supporting the older systems but the same time I don't really feel sorry for anyone that hasn't upgraded ans won't be able to play it. I'm sure destiny will work with the 2 companies to put together some kind of special offer and/or bundle deal to entice players to upgrade.

All these people complaining about not having a next gen console are going to wait so long to buy it they will just have the problem again in like 3 years when the next new consoles one out lol Gaming is my primary hobby I've spent over 25 days on destiny alone.. Playing games is actually a very inexpensive hobby compared to most I can't see the side of someone who spends 3 or more hours a day playing games who refuses to invest in the next gen (and don't give me the oh I have mouths to feed shit if you're struggling that badly put down the controller and get a second job..)

You know whats funny XD you guys are saying this about destiny. The only thing they showed today really was Ghorn and few weapons and gear(all looks cool, but the devil is always in the details). I have a ps4 and ps3, but Im not jumping on the fan wagon yet. Idk if ill even buy ttk or RoI on the ps4, and I don't feel the need to troll people who haven't upgraded. You never know, they maybe the lucky ones. smh you(we) are not better because we have ps4sor xb1s. Most of you are shit.

It was either sooner or later this was going to happen so why are you complaining about what is the inevitable? We (as a Community) have had ample time to put money away, work, whatever it is you do for money, to get a current gen console such as the Xbox One or PS4. There's really no reason for people to be complaining about this. In the end, it was going to happen and moving forward it will allow Bungie to continue to improve their game.

6 RisposteThere is 0 reason to drop ps3 and 360 at this moment. No expansion ever could bring enough changes to the game engine or ui to warrant dropping a console generation the game was built for. Destiny 2 will drop last gen, an expansion should not. We will be using the same disc for -blam!- sake, I preordered the most expensive ttk edition, the disc it came with is still in its metal case, never been opened.
