How well do people want exotics to perform? The last thing i want is another gally situation to where people think a particular gun is needed in order to have success in activities.
Or a thorn situation where particular exotics were needed to perform well in crucible.

Touch of Malice? Black Spindle? Sleeper Simulant? The problem wasn't gjallarhorn the weapon itself. The problem was that you could only get it by strict RNG. You could argue the same about the SS, but the drop rate for the fusion parts are quite high.

Lets be honest, neither of those guns are as requested or notorious as gally. Wanna do VoG or Crota end? Wheres you gally? Nightfall? Where's your gally? Prison of elders? Where's your gally? Hardly anyone requests sleeper simulant, touch sure, black spindle.....there's other options, especially since people cant wield both touch and spindle.

Maybe they can work on having the exotics balance each other, like I'm getting owned by thorn and don't have one, but.... I have a bad juju and that should give me a better chance. I trying to say if we raise the quality of the exotic tier, then raise the balance of the weapons in that tier. Have exotics rare enough that most players will have a few and different types, not all of us having every one in first week of dlc release. We will have variety since not everyone will be using the same exotic. And I like the quest idea for exotics, but not crazy hard, a reward for grinding would be a larger exotic collection. We all paid roughly the same for the game, so making how much you play lead to progression not just skill.
