The truly great exotics that we all coveted and worked so hard to obtain. The Gjallarhorn, the Icebreaker, the original version of the Vex Mythoclast... those weapons were OP as shit... and that is what made them wonderful and truly exotic.
I do miss those days.

Ow man, how many hours i grinded to get 3 of them all... Plus FBs, BHs, HoC, VoCs... thoose were THE WEAPONS!

I never grinded once. I got gally third week, thunderlord third week, icebreaker the first time he sold it week 4 or 5, fatebringer, VoC and praedyths within my first three hard mode runs. Vex i got before its first nerf by a single day, and most of crotas end gear i got the BH first run. Now armour, thats a different story. Didnt get a helmet of even exotic for my titan until 3 weeks from dark below. Then it was a month and a half before i got one again in dark below.

I agree man. I miss it bad. There are still some really good weapons out there. I use my pre-April update Dead Orbit vendor roll Hung Jury religiously in PvE. But compared to the raw power of weapons like Fatebringer, VoC, Gally, Icebreaker, Black Hammer (original white nail functionality), and the OG Vex... damn those were fun.
