At this point, I think a lot of the "NERF!" rage on the forums is fake. They just want to mess with people -- whether it's the gamers or perhaps Bungie themselves. To take away something people like to use or do. Or perhaps they just want to say "Haha we got you guys to do what we wanted!" Just about every "nerf!" post I see is pointless... the weapon or power or action being used is fine. It's just that they're not trying to counter it properly. And while I can understand some people probably do believe X is too powerful... I have to imagine some of the people posting due threads and constant-bumping are doing it just to troll the game. There's some borderline stuff out there... but nothing worth raising a fuss over.
