[u]Full Auto[/u] Useless on the Medium RoF/Medium Impact archetype and is far more useful on the Low Rof/Low Impact. [u]Zen Moment[/u] Useless on Vision Of Confluence as it already has excellent base stability, it added close to no bonus. [u]Solar Damage[/u] This is the only good thing Vision Of Confluence had going for it as Auto Rifles weren't in a great place, making Abyss Defiant bad. By the time House Of Wolves came along, The Scholar with Solar Damage would be far better than Vision Of Confluence as it hit harder and it's perks were far more valuable.

You'll get no argument about abyss defiant from most people. I disagree however on you opinion about full auto. Lower impact higher fire rate scouts are hard to control, I'd rather be able to pick my shots. With the VOC Fire rate and stability I was still able to confidently pick my shots. Keep in mind before the field scout nerf VOC also carried a 27 round mag. So between sept 2014 and May 2015 VOC was the only viable solar primary, and after that it rng x rng.

By the time Full Auto came to the Low RoF scouts in House Of Wolves, you could roll Braced Frame on them. Making the stability easy to handle, so that wasn't even a problem. Also, having 27 per a mag isn't anything special. Any Vanilla-TTK scout rifle could have a far superior roll to Vision Of Confluence aside from having Solar damage.
