So I started a new character... (Warning; Nostalgia!)
Hi everyone!
So, I decided to start a new character since I had that boost to lvl 25 (decided to create a Warlock, already loving the new experiences like spamming firebolts!) and then it hit me...
I had a bunch of old year 1 items in the vault I just could not let go and I equipped them;
> [b]Fatebringer[/b], The Almighty.
Wrecker of Nightfalls and destroyer of grouped-up ads.
> [b]Found Verdict[/b], The Definately Not So Innocent.
Fully automatic destroyer of Captains, Harpy majors and all-time asskicker.
> [b]Gjallarhorn[/b], The Legend. (Of Smoggy Pluto)
Destroyer of worlds, killer of all, record holder of most brutal and quickest kills ever.
These weapons have had, and always will have a special place in my heart.
Hell, just today I was on patrol venus and what do I see there? 4 lvl 40's trying to open up the Vault of Glass!
And just like I alwyas did and will always do; I helped them kick some Praetorian ass.
Now, I shall continue with brutally -blam!- everything in Year 1 but tell me...

I dont know if this is still a thing right now, but i do know it was before the april update. Weapons that you [u]buy[/u] from the Crucible vendor have the requirements of level [b]30[/b]. So what i did was create a new Character, level it up to 20. Equip the brave shell since its also requirement level 20 and ofcourse my year 1 weapons. I infused the brave shell all the way up so my light level got a boost you dont want to know ;) . The moment i reached 30 i would equip the Crucible weapons that i had bought, all infused way up there. And that gave me the option to do every TTK mission while being atleast 5 levels below it and still walk around as if i was god. It was so much fun. All those old moments in the original game. It felt so good that i made another account and started playing from complete scratch. Its not the best one since i rarely play on it now, but its still a 324 light character right now.

3 RisposteWell, I still use my Y1 Lord high fixer in crucible all the time!! It's a bit like time travel especially after IB, where I obviously couldn't use it... Maybe (but very unlikely) I will get a Y2 version of that old beast...

A few months ago I decided to play the first few story missions which was really cool. We also did VoG a few weeks back

I got a new account and decided to try destiny on it. Absolutely no progress whatsoever. It's funny having 200 grimoire but still kicking ass in pvp

Anyway, as soon as I hit level 20, I dusted off my Ghally, Fatebringer, Found Verdict, and Vision of Confluence from the vault and reminded myself on how amazing those weapons were as I was leveling up to 40 through the story missions and strikes.

2 Risposte#ireadthese. Making a hunter myself. Sadly..... I got rid of allll my good guns except for shadow of veils. RIP me. I had a fulcrum that was badass back when. Use to hold on to found verdict. Ughhhhh

Last nostalgia trip was on Crota's End. I gathered a group of friends to run Flawless Raider. (We did it) We had such a blast!

I finally got to do the VoG for the first time 2 months ago. It's my favorite experience in Destiny :)
