I think the word -blam!- has lost most of it's meaning as a slur towards gay people. Most people simply use it as another word for describing someone who is a dick. If I was gay and someone called me a -blam!-, I would probably laugh in there face because they simply stated the truth about my sexual preferences. That being said I would never refer to a gay person as a -blam!- because I understand how they might feel. I think differently from most people I know though and don't let words get to me because if you do that it empowers them and they think they have some form of control over you.
