I'll be honest I don't really care about prince. But it is disheartening seeing all the bigoted comments about homosexuals. It never ceases to amaze me how much hate there is in the world. I understand that the Internet is inherently a toxic place. But I implore the people of these forums to keep it off the forums or at the least, take it somewhere else.

Most people simply use it as another word for describing someone who is a dick. If I was gay and someone called me a -blam!-, I would probably laugh in there face because they simply stated the truth about my sexual preferences. That being said I would never refer to a gay person as a -blam!- because I understand how they might feel. I think differently from most people I know though and don't let words get to me because if you do that it empowers them and they think they have some form of control over you.

I use " fgt"a lot on this forum but mostly when describing hunters. I'm not bigot though.

Dude, you should find a different word. You might be lucky enough to live in a part of the world where violence doesn't occur against a person on account their sexuality -if so, that's great. The word has a history & is loaded, generally with hate. Violence is still out there. An acquaintance of mine was bashed & hospitalized last year. Was it related to his sexuality I can't say, but he is gay & guess what they called him.

I'm am not under the illusion that the world is perfect. I understand that there is violence against people for their beliefs and for reasons they have no control over. My point was stop teaching hate or find a different forum to do so if so inclined.
