It didn't come out of the black hole. It was spinning, and spinning black holes have an ergosphere outside of the event horizon where matter can escape, and if it does it will have became more energetic by stealing some of the black hole's rotational energy, thus it being excited and giving off light. We observe black holes by looking for the brightest areas in the universe, not for the darkest. There is suppose to be light around a black hole, as like Moon rotates about Earth, the black hole will have matter rotating about it, but much faster because it's a black hole, so the matter will become excited and give off light. This is a huge problem for astronomers because the center of the Milky Way is basically a huge light that we can't see past in certain wavelengths of light.
