My honest opinion
If private matches come, then segregation will run ramped. Destiny is a social game, let's keep it that way. Private matches would lock out or prevent guardians from challenging true skilled players, because, first of all a scrub that just wants to play won't be accepted in the private match. Kind of like the ghallarhorn madness
Then elitist can survey the maps even more than what they do now.

Call of duty has customs.. There is no segregation there .. It just gives you the options to play how you wanna play .. Man a game like this needs it more than any other game to have a break from thorn or whatever the current op gun is... People will always play the normal servers too..

Na let's keep it how it is. . Everybody it's dealing with the same issues . Yeah true it has custom matches, but look how many iterations of the game they have to make to stay relevant . And CODs are only reskinned games off its previous editions.... That private mess washes out and dulls games real quick. It pushes players away permanently. Now you no longer have to play against scrubs.... So who will we play with and how will we get better?? Destiny stands apart, and there's a reason why. Private matches and dedicated servers may not be the answer you looking for

Private matches are mostly so you can screw around with your friends. Who gives a flying -blam!- what the best players do? I wanna shoot my buddies and play a swords only mode
